This HobbyPrint® STF (Sublimation to Film) A3 kit enables you to print and press designs directly onto any light-coloured fabrics, cotton, poly-cotton or polyester blends. All Fabrics. The process is the same as normal sublimation printing, but with the addition of a Hot Melt powder step.

Sublimation inks, working in combination with the film and hot melt powder, print and transfer designs with incredible and vibrant colours, in well-defined detail. It is retail-quality printing at its best.

The kit has been carefully thought out, trialled and assembled with high-quality films and powders to ensure a high-quality print transfer and ease of use. The STF film is supplied with a corner cut-out to indicate film insertion into your printer. This ensures printing on the correct side of the film. The film can be peeled after pressing whilst it is Hot, Warm or Cool.

How It Works:

1. Print your design in mirror using sublimation ink onto the STF film
2. Apply the white, hot melt adhesive powder to the wet print
3. Shake off excess powder and either cure the film using a heat press or oven, or direct press after powder without curing
4. Press the design onto your cotton fabric at 160–170°C (320–338°F) for 50 seconds
5. Peel the film and enjoy your transfer!
